We're always looking for new Friends! Bring your ideas and enthusiasm. THE FRIENDS MEETINGS ARE HELD AT 10:00 AM ON THE FOURTH WEDNESDAY OF EVERY OTHER MONTH. (January, March, May, July, September and November)
NEXT FRIENDS MEETING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 25 AT 10:00 AM IN THE SKAGIT RIVER SIDE OF THE LIBRARY MEETING ROOMS
We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of Library programs and collections. We raise funds through the sale of used books at Book Ends – our on-going book sale located in the Library lobby – and through our semi-annual Book Sales. The Friends also support the library with "hands-on" help at library programs--both children's and adult. You'll find a wide variety of quality used books at Book Ends – and we add to the selection daily. Check it out the next time you visit the Library! The Friends are always accepting donations of "gently used books." No textbooks, please. Read a proclamation about the importance of the Friends of the Library. We are now offering a 100% cotton book bag with the Friends of the Burlington Library logo for only $5. Go green! Great as an all-purpose tote. You'll find them at the check-out desk in the Library. Shop local, and support your library at the same time!
I want to know more about the Friends!
