|  | ALPHA PARK This small, triangular park is located on Fairhaven Avenue at Cherry Street in the downtown business district and is a quaint, well-groomed spot often used for summer picnics. It is also the site of Burlington's community Christmas tree. | | JACK DOYLE MEMORIAL PARK This 1.17-acre neighborhood park, formerly known as Section Street Park, is presently the site of a beautification project through the combined efforts of our Parks Department and Burlington's Parks Foundation. Neighborhood residents have plenty of open space for all types of family activities. |  |

|  | JASON BOERNER MEMORIAL PARK This park at Norris Street and West Fairhaven Avenue is an area dedicated for memorials to special people in the community and serves as a day-use park for picnicking and play. You'll find a tree dedication area, playground for kids, picnic area and lots of open space. |

LIONS CLUB PARK This 1.6 acre park is located off SR 20 at Regent Street. This community gathering spot is maintained by Burlington's Lions Club and offers picnic tables and BBQs for the park's visitors. There is also a trailer "dump" station offered for the RV'ers.

| | MAIBEN PARK Maiben is a terrific neighborhood park located at 1011 E. Greenleaf Avenue between Skagit and Regent Streets. Along with a large, covered picnic shelter that is available for rent, you'll find tennis and basketball courts at the park. Children especially will enjoy the playground area and the Kiwanis Water Park. Burlington's Community & Senior Center are also located at Maiben. |  | RAILROAD PARK This small, angular park is located right behind the Old City Hall building at 500 East Fairhaven Avenue between Oak and Cherry Streets. It's the gathering spot for the start of the Berry Dairy Days Road Run hosted each June. |

| ROTARY PARK Rotary is a great family park located on South Section Street just south of Rio Vista Avenue (just behind Lucille Umbarger Elementary School). The park offers a covered picnic shelter (available for rent),a play area for kids, sand volleyball courts, cloverleaf baseball complex and a horseshoe pit. Burlington's architecturally designed Sk8 Park can also be found at Rotary and is one of the best in the region. |  | |  |

| SKAGIT RIVER PARK The main entrance for this sprawling park is located at the intersection of South Skagit Street and East Gilkey Road. This multifaceted 51-acre complex is used for a variety of sporting events and league play. We offer over 22 soccer fields, 8 baseball diamonds, 24 horseshoe pits (generously donated by Skagit Valley Horseshoe Club) and we have plenty of open space for Disc and Frisbee tournaments, too. Along with the playfields, there are restroom facilities, concessions, a covered shelter, lighted parking and a children's playground on site. | Skagit River Park's latest addition~ | | 
| | Above: N.O.R.A.'s (Northwest Oval/Off-Road Radio Control Association) Oval and Off Road remote control car track. NORA operates its races at the track every Friday evening from May until October. Additional info regarding the races can be found at www.NORARCOVAL.com. Races are open to the public, no charge for spectators. The tournament horseshoe pit area can also be seen in the photo's back ground. Skagit Valley Horseshoe Club hosts tournaments twice yearly, April's Tulip Open and June's Strawberry Open. Both tournaments take place on the second Saturday of the month. Regular league play for the club takes place Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm through the summer months. Newcomers welcome! | STATE ROUTE 20 ARBORETA TRAIL This new ''park'' lies between SR20 and the Burlington-Northern railroad tracks and features a compact gravel jogging trail from Regent Street to Peter-Anderson Road (it continues eastward as a county jogging trail). Benches are provided as well as the recent addition of arboreta along the trail. |
