Ted Montgomery is Manager of Ekrem Hardware in Burlington where he has been employed for 25 years.  He spent four years in the United States Air Force and previously owned an appliance store in Burlington.  He has two grown sons and two grandchildren.  For more than ten years he enjoyed coaching Little League baseball.  He was first elected to serve on the Burlington City Council beginning in January 1996 and later appointed to fill the unexpired council term for the "At-Large" position in November 1998.  He was appointed to the unexpired Ward 1 position in December 2004 and subsequently elected to complete the term through December 2007 and re-elected to his current term.  He currently serves on several council committees including the Parks & Recreation Board and an alternate for the Budget & Finance Committee.  Ted has lived in Burlington since 1977.
