Edie Edmundson is serving in her first term as Council Member for Ward 2.

Edie is a graduate of Burlington-Edison High School, graduated from Skagit Valley College (Cum Laude) and attended Western Washington University.  She retired from a successful insurance business after 15 years.  Following her retirement, she served Burlington as the Chairman of the Board of Adjustment.  Always a volunteer, she has been a member of the Burlington Parks Foundation, Burlington Library Foundation, President of the Burlington Friends of the Library and a Board member for Secret Harbor/Fostercare Resources.  She presently serves the Allen Methodist Church as a member of the Finance Committee.  She is an 18 year member of Kiwanis International, serving as President of the Skagit-Mount Vernon Club. 

Edie serves on several council committees including Audit and Finance, Public Safety,and the Museum Board.
