Project Overview

This project consists of the construction of a stormwater lift station and approximately 3,800 feet of 24-inch force main. The lift station will be located north of the Skagit Transit Station and west of a proposed stormwater detention pond. The force main will extend along the County Shop Lane (Private Road) and South Walnut Street from the lift station to the existing 54-inch Spruce Street stormwater trunk sewer, located at the intersection of Walnut Street and Orange Avenue. In addition, the force main will be crossing under State Highway 20 and Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad. The preliminary design has been established by the Surface Water Management Plan (Plan).

This project is planned to be constructed starting this August with completion May 2008.
