Keep Moving on the Information Highway at the Burlington Public Library! –

Learn to use a computerDrop in Computer skills training sessions are now scheduled for
Tuesdays 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Wednesdays 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Thursdays 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.  & 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Come by for guided training and practice sessions for learning basic computer skills including email, Internet Searching and commerce, Microsoft Office, Library Skills, Social Networking, Ebooks & Audiobooks.
Individually paced learning and practice time is available on library computers or your own laptop.

OFFICE SOFTWARE

The Burlington Public Library has Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, etc) on its computers for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and publications.  Free self-paced online courses are available and the library offers use of laptops and study areas with a library card or ID.

Testing & Education Reference Center (Gale )  Includes Windows 7 Instructional videos in addition to its resources for career exploration and practice tests in preparation for undergraduate and graduate school programs. This resource also helps with finding tuition assistance providers, and preparing resumes for students as well as adults exploring new career paths.  TEST TAKING AND FINANCIAL AID SEARCHING requires one time registration - save your user name and password for future access.
